After a long night and morning working in the studio, Chad and I headed to our second Oktoberfest of the season late on Saturday afternoon. We hitched a ride on the light rail train and rode it into the heart of Phoenix for the traditional German "Volksfest." This festival was much smaller then the Tempe Oktoberfest, but much more authentic in the set-up, band, food, beer and fashion. The weather was amazing and Chad and I had a great time in the Park eating sausages, pretzels, listening to the Bavarian band and checking out the Lederhosen and Dirndls attire. Definitely makes you want to run off to Germany and experience the real thing.
