After receiving an e-mail last week for a job I applied to saying, that they had already recently hired their new Graphic Designer - I like all the other rejection letters, set it aside and moved on. However, yesterday I got a phone call from that same exact group telling me that they have decided to continue with their search and asked if I was still available to meet. Of course, I said yes and scheduled an interview for today!
I went in this morning and met with the head designer and co/founder and was offered on the spot, a paid trial/interview week. Designers typically take a test during an interview to prove they can design but now I have the chance to show this team my awesomeness that I say I am. I get to work with the team for a week and we both get to find out if it's a right fit! I'm super excited about the opportunity and the company!
The company is called Boon Inc. and it's all about innovative and modern product design for babies and toddlers. Innovative. Modern. Design. Product. Packaging. - Oh I cannot tell you how ideal this is! Yea, Yea and Yea! Chad and I are both really excited for this opportunity!!
It can go either way, but we know whatever happens, it will be for the best! As for now, I cannot wait for next week!
