The first weekend in November, I had a friend in town and Chad also had plans. He ventured off to the Barry M. Goldwater Range with fellow photography students and professors from ASU. Chad has been talking about this area from the moment we moved to Arizona. And since he is graduating next month, he finally decided to put a camping trip in motion. If you all know Chad, he is like a kid in a candy store when he is in the desert and in new territory. With that being said, he had an amazing time exploring and finding old bombs, rockets or other munitions that surround the area - of course they were in a safe area. However, they were still pretty close to some of the areas that are closed off from visitors where live training is happening. Crazy, crazy but the land is beautiful and Chad couldn't have been happier about his experience.P.S. Our first testing range we've been to was White Sands National Park. Beauty and destruction - always an amazing experience.
