On Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, my best friend Jen Tso married Phillip Hulme on a gorgeous Oregon day at The View Point Inn in Corbett,OR. The day could not have been any better, the bride and groom were beautiful and the backdrop was amazing...the day was absolutely flawless. Jennifer has always been there for me throughout the years and I was honored to stand by my friend’s side to celebrate her and Phil's special day! I'd like to share a section of my Matron of Honor speech; because I feel like it sums up the journey and feelings I feel towards this amazing couple! ..."While living and growing up on different continents, this couple’s story will definitely make you a believer in fate! It had to be fate that Jen's and Phil's eyes would meet in a single room so far away from home... and where the real journey would begin...but some say absence diminishes small loves and increases great ones. So with a whirlwind romance of travel overseas, relocation abroad and having to over come obstacles outside their control, the love and commitment they have shown to one another inspires and amazes us all! It's as if two half's of the same soul have finally become one. I'm so thrilled you have found one another and have made this commitment today!" ... I am ecstatic for this couple as they begin their new adventure together and I look forward to a life time of friendship! Congratulations Jen and Phil!
