Valentines Gift

For Valentine's Day, Chad and I started our day enjoying a yummy lunch sitting in the sun on the patio at Palette in Downtown Phoenix. Afterward, we had a great time exploring REI. With a few camping trips already on the calender and more to schedule, for my v-day gift, I am finally able to classify myself with a true campers sleeping bag! Who knew a girl could be so exited. I finally get to ditch my backyard bag with an upgrade North Face Cat's Meow bag. This is a synthetic bag that meets the needs for a three-season backpacker who wants to save a little weight and have cozy nights. Plus it has lots of extra goodies and even a glow-in-the dark zipper. =) I'm super stoked and Chad wanted to take some photos for the blog, hope you enjoy! I look like a dork but love my new sleeping bag and look forward to my cozy nights in the desert. For the rest of our V-day we got PF Chang dinner and dessert take out (we had dinner here last year with my mom when she was in town, I think it might be our tradition now) and watched movies while cozying up on the couch. It was a fabulous V-day with the hubby!
